Zafro Control
Internal toolA menu bar remote for Zafro portable air conditioners.
Everything the phone app does — power, modes, temperature, fan speed, timers — from the macOS menu bar or the Windows and Linux system tray. Plus a Homebridge plugin for Apple Home.
From the lab — an internal tool, not currently released. It may be open-sourced later.
Zafro Control exists because opening a phone app to change the temperature is one step too many. It talks to Zafro’s cloud the same way the official app does and puts every control a click away in the menu bar or tray.
It also reads back what the unit knows — room temperature, humidity, filter hours, tank and error states — so the AC stops being a black box. A companion Homebridge plugin brings it into Apple Home.
