TesseraSnap

Coming to Microsoft Store

The keyboard-and-gesture window manager for Windows 11.

Snap any window into halves, thirds and quarters with a hotkey, a flick of the mouse, or a drag to the edge. One tiny native executable, written in Rust against the raw Win32 API.

TesseraSnap brings fast, precise window management to Windows 11. If you’ve used a tiling tool on the Mac and missed it on your PC, this is the one.

There are four ways to place a window: hotkeys (Ctrl+Alt plus a key), Throw (hold the keys, move the mouse in a direction, release), drag to snap (drag a title bar to an edge or corner), and the tray menu. Every one shows a preview before anything moves.

It’s built the hard way on purpose: Rust, straight against Win32, so it starts instantly, uses almost no memory, and doesn’t drag a runtime along with it. The free version is a complete window manager; Pro adds Throw, saved layouts and the power-user extras, with a 7-day trial in every install.

TesseraSnap is published by TappsAI. Support, pricing, the user guide and the privacy policy live on tesserasnap.com.
